I'M GOING TO CALIFORNIA!!!
It's been almost 2 years since I've been home! I found the BEST FREAKING DEAL on airfare, so I snatched that up like WHAT! I'll be going on January 14th till the 21st, and I'll be staying with my mom. I'm so elated right now it's not even funny.

So, I just got home from work. I check the mail on the dining room table first thing when I get home to see if there's anything for Damon and I, and today there was a lot of stuff.
Mainly, there were 3 letters from the Delaware Department of Transportation's violation processing center. I got 3 fucking toll violations because my piece of shit EZ-Pass didn't work when I drove through the shitbox toll plazas in Dover. So now I owe, like... $100 on three toll violations that weren't even my fault. I'm going to try to contest them, but knowing my luck, I'll be stuck with the bill. I also got another bill from my doctor's office. Still $225.00, plus the $479.25 I still owe the hospital. I hate debt. I'm lucky my debt is so small, but I still hate it. I hate the feeling I get when I owe money.
I'm proud of myself today. When I took my lunch break at work and drove over to Taco Bell. Instead of ordering my usual 4 chicken soft tacos and a mexican pizza, I ordered two soft tacos instead. Just two tacos! This is a triumph for me! I have to admit that my only having $2 had a lot to do with my decision, but even still. I ate two tacos and felt satisfied.
I've been playing Bully on our PS2. Damon picked it up a few days ago. I really like it! You play as a boy in a boarding school and you basically fight kids in the school and go to class. It's kinda like Grand Theft Auto, only there are no guns or cars. It's pretty fun.
I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow, but I have a two days off in a row coming up. Those are always nice! |
